Recent Events

We have been very busy here in Lecanvey NS. We travelled to Sancta Maria in Louisburgh to see the musical Spamalot. We really enjoyed the show and it was great to see our past pupils on stage.

We also participated in the Westport Credit Union Quiz in Knockranny House Hotel and were happy with where we placed.

Then we had a workshop on Music and Instrument Development Through the Ages where the children learnt all about the origin of musical instruments and how they evolved. There was a lot of audience participation with this workshop and the children engaged really well.

Every Friday morning we also have "Shining Stars" This is where all pupils

assemble and we sing songs and chat about our theme for the week. We promote well-being,confidence, respect and care for each other.
