World War One Project
Our seniors undertook a project on World War One. Firstly they had to make a short film using Stop Motion Animation to depict the battle on the front.
The next step was to make a giant sized map,(which was made out of recycled cardboard),to show the allies and the central powers who fought in the war. They also made flags for each country.
They made trenches by partially colouring in cardboard with poppies to look like warfare. Toy soldiers were placed in these trenches and the Christmas day event was re-enacted, i.e. the German soldiers and their enemy playing a football match on the battle field.
All the senior classes really embraced this project with the greatest enthusiasm and fun.
