Green Schools Action Week
We had our Green Schools Action Week from 29th May to 2nd June. We began our week by participating in the Explorers Education Programme which was facilitated by Conor Ryan.
We learned a lot about our oceans and marine environments, species and seashores. We explored our own local shore at Lecanvey Pier and even dissected a squid!
On Tuesday we had our own "Walk for Water" event to raise awareness of water scarcity and show solidarity with children worldwide.
We also had a very successful Low Energy Day where we made an effort to use as little energy as possible.
The Junior Room met Jenny the Jam Jar and her friends who taught us all about recycling.
To end our week we had a Blue Day and everyone had fun dressing in blue.
We had a very busy and successful week!
